It's not my intention in this article to disregard or dismiss the necessity of this very well-recognised phenomenon; rather I plan to exhibit which the Catalan poet Ausiàs March also exerted a considerable affect on those same poets, and that he could be considered a link between a lot of the Italian poets and the ideal poets of Renaissance Spain.
